Russ Anderson is the president and CEO of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, North Texas’ leading brokerage for exceptional homes, ranches, land, and commercial property. He’s been honored by D Magazine as one of the 500 most powerful business leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth for three consecutive years from 2022 through 2024.

Before joining Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in 2018 as its chief integration officer, Russ was president and CEO of Guardian Mortgage, a Dallas-based mortgage company with offices in six states. Russ has held leadership roles with Bank of America, Countrywide Financial, Wells Fargo, Prudential Home Mortgage, and First Union National Bank.

In a highly unique Texas-California collaboration, Russ is also the president and CEO of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty, headquartered in San Diego and specializing in the Southern California luxury market. California and Texas have a unique relationship: Each is the state where more of the other state’s residents move to than any other. The dual roles for Anderson are part of a core strategy of the $35 billion Peerage Realty Partners network, of which both Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty and Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty are a part.
