Aaron Shelby, Executive Vice-President – LegacyTexas Bank

Aaron Shelby joined LegacyTexas Bank in 2003 and is Executive Vice President over Commercial Lending as Subsidiary Manager, in addition to LegacyTexas Insurance, LegacyTexas Title and the LegacyTexas Mortgage Division.

LegacyTexas Bank has been serving North Texas since 1952. With more than $6 billion in assets and 47 locations in 19 North Texas cities, LegacyTexas Bank is one of the largest locally based banks in the area.

Aaron began his career at Inwood National Bank. He then owned and operated Mr. Bracket, a distribution business that sold to automotive aftermarket retailers from 1999 – 2003. After selling Mr. Bracket, Aaron got involved with LegacyTexas in order to represent the family’s interest in the bank on a day-to-day basis.

Mark Sinatra joined Staff One in 2008 as chief executive officer. Staff One is a full-service professional employer organization (PEO), which enable its clients to focus on growing their businesses while outsourcing critical aspects of HR and employee administration.

Paul Carolan, President – Bruegger’s Bagels

Paul Carolan was named president of Bruegger’s Bagels in January, which includes more than 300 bakeries and cafés.

Bruegger’s Bagels is known for its freshly baked, authentic New York-style bagels and signature coffees. Bruegger’s Bagels leadership team has joined management from Le Duff America, Inc. and its sister brands, la Madeleine and Brioche Dorée, at the Dallas offices. They have also just opened their first bakery in Dallas in over 10 years at Love Field.

Paul most recently served as chief development officer for Le Duff America’s Bruegger’s Bagels, la Madeleine, Brioche Dorée and Timothy Coffee brands.

Paul Van Deventer, CEO – Meeting Professionals International

Paul Van Deventer joined Meeting Professionals International in April 2013 as President and Chief Executive Officer. He most recently served as divisional vice president of the Health & Wellness Division at Walgreens, the largest drug store chain in the United States.

Prior to Walgreens, Paul was the senior vice president of Sales and Field Services at Mitchell International, Inc., a leading provider of information, software and business solutions for the automotive insurance and collision repair markets. Earlier in his career, Paul spent 22 years with American Express where he gained experience with the business travel and meeting and event industries.

Meeting Professionals International is the largest global meeting and event industry association with approximately 18,500 members belonging to 70 chapters and clubs worldwide.
