Steven Wang, President, Ming Wang

MINGWANG 130(Lightened)As a child in Florida, Steven Wang spent summers and after school hours working at the Ming Wang warehouse and factory, the company his parents founded. Determined to carve his own path, he pursued a career in finance, getting his business degree from the University of Michigan.

Upon graduating, he worked as a consultant for Arthur Andersen before deciding to work at the Ming Wang headquarters. By 2003, Steven was fully involved in the company, opening the brand’s New York office and overseeing the warehouse’s relocation to Texas in 2006 after 20 years in the South Florida area.

Founded in 1986, Ming Wang has been a family owned and operated company since its inception. With namesake designer Ming handling design and her husband Eddie overseeing production, the brand has grown outside of the couple’s New York City apartment and into a national business.
