John Carona’s journey from a young entrepreneur in East Dallas to the visionary leader of Associa, the largest manager of community associations in North America, epitomizes excellence in leadership, innovation, and community service.
A native Texan and the grandson of Italian immigrants, John demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit from the tender age of 12. Through sheer determination, he worked three jobs to fund his education, eventually graduating as an alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin.\
In 1979, John founded what is known today as Associa, a modest property management boutique in Dallas. Under his leadership, Associa has expanded to over 300 offices across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, employing more than 16,000 people. This remarkable growth is a testament to John’s innovative vision and unwavering commitment to excellence
