Steve Provost, President, Maggiano’s Little Italy

 30e52e2Steve Provost is President of Maggiano’s Little Italy, a 50 restaurant, $400 million restaurant business which was recently chosen as “America’s Favorite Italian Restaurant Chain” in a national survey by Market Force International.
Steve grew up in a family of five boys in Montpelier, Vermont. His first job was as a paperboy, his second as a dishwasher at the local Holiday Inn. Steve has also been a Presidential speechwriter, book writer, marketer, franchise leader and restaurant operator. He has been a direct report to four Fortune 500 CEO’s, one private equity chief, a U.S. Senator, Governor and President of the United States.
Steve still works regular shifts in his restaurants, including washing dishes, and is known for his focus on front-line teammates and the guest. Owned and operated by Brinker International, Inc., next year Maggiano’s will celebrate 25 years as a restaurant chain.

Pam Donahoo, Executive Director, American Mensa

Pam2Pam Donahoo is the Executive Director of American Mensa, the largest international chapter of the worldwide association that connects highly intelligent people.

Mensa was established in 1946 in England as an association for intelligent people to engage in discourse, discovery and social pursuits. The first meeting of American Mensa happened in 1960. The offices of American Mensa moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 1995.  Pam started working with Mensa shortly after in 1997.

In conjunction with the American Mensa Committee, Pam directs the management and future growth of American Mensa, including the development of new programs and services that benefit members and local groups.

Laura Hill-MayorAfter spending 14 years in hotel food and beverage management, Laura Hill joined the family directory business in 1995. Founded in 1987 by Wallace Downey, Downey Publishing had 12 directories with 3,000 customers. During Laura’s 20 years with her family business the company has grown to $9 million in revenues and serves over 13,000 customers in 42 directories.
