JACKSONMabrie Jackson joined the North Texas Commission as its President and CEO in July 2010 and is the 40-year-old organization’s first female leader.

Her background in the public sector includes serving on the Plano City Council in 2008 and 2009. After stepping down from the Plano City Council in 2009, Mabrie ran for the Texas Legislature as the Republican primary and run-off election candidate for the Texas House District 66 seat. She briefly served as interim president and CEO of the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

Mabrie worked at Microsoft Corporation for 13 years incubating award-winning, revenue-producing relationships with international, national and local technology companies. Prior to Microsoft, Mabrie spent 10 years in financial services marketing for EDS.

Matt Childs has served as the President for the American Concrete Pipe Association for nine years where he works with national standards writing, marketing, training, engineering, lobbying, quality control and the design of concrete pipe. Rick Traylor is Immediate Past Chairman of the American Concrete Pipe Association and Rinker Materials Vice President for Technical Services. He has a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M and has been with Rinker Materials for 25 years.
