Larry & Jon Sayah, CEO & President, Texas Fluorescents & Lights Fantastic

In 1965, Larry Sayah bought a 2 man fluorescent lighting assembler on McKinney Street in downtown Dallas. He grew the assembly of fluorescents into a national manufacturer of commercial and energy savings lighting. Texas Fluorescents now sells nationwide to electrical distributors and lighting showrooms supplying National account retailers like Five Below, Dollar Tree, Saks Fifth Ave and many more.

When Texas Fluorescents outgrew the McKinney Avenue location in 1968 they moved to a new facility and opened a retail lighting showroom in the same building in order to provide contemporary lighting to the new home market that was growing called Lights Fantastic.

Larry’s son Jon began his lighting career with Lightolier, returning to the family business in 2004. Jon’s 15 years of experience outside the business has helped his Dad and the company, grow over the last twelve years by six times, now doing over $120 million with over 400 employees.

In 2015 Larry & Jon opened Lights Fantastic Pro, an LED Lighting Showroom that has received accolades as the Lighting Showroom of the Century beginning a new template for the future of lighting.

Mark Johnson is the founder of MedNetwoRx and has been president and CEO since its inception in February of 2001. Dale A. Petroskey assumed the position of President and CEO of the Dallas Regional Chamber on April 1, 2014. The DRC serves more than 2,000 member companies to increase economic prosperity and enhance the quality of life throughout the region.
